Mike Tinsley, President

Mike’s construction experience spans over thirty-five years in the Hendersonville area including custom homes, remodeling and renovations and several developments.   Mike has not only been a builder for all these years but he also was a licensed home inspector for many years until recently retiring from that business.  The continuing education required to be a licensed home inspector only made him more knowledgeable in the building business.  Mike lives in Fletcher, North Carolina and also owns Rutledge Lake RV Park with his wife Sandy.  Their park is just one more testament to the quality and focus Mike puts into his projects as it has been recognized as the ARVC Small Park of the Year.  They have five children and fourteen grandchildren!  He is a member of Dunns Creek Baptist Church in Brevard.

Mike holds a NC General Contractor License. 

Scott Tinsley, Vice-President

Scott began working with his dad while still in high school and through the years has become a highly skilled carpenter and builder.  He acts as site supervisor on all of our jobs and works closely with the subcontractors.  The most common feedback we hear about Scott is that his attention to detail and quality is beyond most homeowner’s expectations.  Scott and his wife Lisa live in Hendersonville with their two daughters.  Scott is a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville.

Glenda Lance, Office Support

Call our office and you will be speaking with Glenda Lance who answers the phone as well as handling the bookkeeping and payroll for TCBI.  She is Mike and Sandy’s daughter and mother of four of those fourteen grandchildren!  Glenda has worked with Mike for over ten years.  She and her husband Jeff live in Brevard, North Carolina and are also active members of Dunns Creek Baptist Church.  Glenda is a Notary Public for the state of North Carolina.

As you have probably figured out by now, we are a family business.  We know how important family and faith are and we hope that reflects in our work ethics.  We will always strive to be honest with you and work as diligently as we possibly can to make you happy.
